With a severe frost expected through Tuesday night, into the early hours of Wednesday morning, there has to be a doubt about Catterick being able to go ahead, but if they do get the green light, then we will have just the one runner.
Brickadank will make his debut over fences at 2.50.pm, in a 0-100 novices handicap chase over two miles and three furlongs, with Becky Smith who has ridden him on several previous occasions, back in the saddle. Brickadank has finished runner up in two hurdles races from marks higher than now, but he does lack consistency, and has failed to get anywhere near competitive in his last two starts. If fences can fire his enthusiasm up, he is weighted to get involved, but he does come in to the race a 28 raced maiden.
