We send one up to Newcastle on Thursday, where the going at the time of writing is described as good to soft, soft in places.
Brickadank who took 36 races to get off the mark, but then won two in a row in February and March of last year is yet to fire in two starts this term, which has seen his mark drop back to the same as that last success. He also steps back down in trip by half a mile, but he has always appeared equally as good whatever the distance.
Brickadank runs at 4.00.pm, in the 0-100 handicap chase, over two miles, with Joshua Thompson on board for the third time, and his first in just over two years.
