Bonne Vitesse re-found her very best form at Ripon on Friday evening when comfortably winning by three quarters of a length under Aiden Brookes, who received praise for his riding from Micky after the race.
Bonne Vitesse whose stamina wasn't fully proven over two miles, certainly saw the race out well, and this was a big improvement on her last flat start at Catterick over 12 furlongs last month, and also on her four recent runs over jumps, since returning to action last November. Bonne Vitesse was a very well handicapped horse going in to this race, being 14lb lower than her highest rating of 70 back in 2020.
