We have one runner at Pontefract on Wednesday, where the going is currently described as good to firm, good in places.
Arranmore has struggled to find his best form since arriving at the yard late last year, but his last two runs have suggested that his turn may not be too far away. After finishing a good fourth at Beverley on his penultimate start, he was then a shade unlucky at Pontefract last time when not getting a clear run from two out. This will only be the third time in his 52 starts to date that he has raced over 10 furlongs, but the gut feeling is that he will stay the trip.
Arranmore runs at 2.10.pm, in the 0-65 amateur jockeys handicap, with Becky Smith on board for the first time.
