AMBASSADOR TO MAKE STABLE DEBUT.

We send one runner down to Uttoxeter on Friday, where the going is currently described as good, despite a lot of recent rain.

Ambassador was rated as high as 120 when trained by Dan Skelton back in 2021, but then gradually lost his way, which saw his mark slip to 89, which included seven starts for his next trainer Martin Keighley. With that yard, he finally came back to form over this course and distance 26 days ago, when comfortably winning by three and a quarter lengths. He has been raised 6lb for that success, but still looks very well handicapped on his past exploits. He goes to post for the 2.45.pm, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, with the champion jockey Brian Hughes taking the ride.
