AMBASSADOR TO HAVE A RARE FLAT OUTING.

We send one runner on the short trip to Catterick on Wednesday, where the going is currently described as good, good to soft in places.

Ambassador is somewhat of a Uttoxeter specialist over hurdles, and was winning there for the fourth time in his last six visits last month, when making all for a seven and a half lengths success, and definitely producing his best effort for the stable yet. This will be his eighth start on the flat, but only his second since his three year old days, and although his flat form doesn't match up to his jumps form, his mark of 53 looks generous.

Ambassador runs at 4.25.pm, in the 0-60 handicap, over the extended one mile and five furlongs, with Aiden Brookes in the saddle for the first time.

Good luck to the connections, David Parry.
