AMBASSADOR CONTINUES IN GOOD HEART.

We send one runner down to Stratford on Saturday, where the going is currently good, good to firm in places.

Our one representative is Ambassador, who goes to post for the first at 4.12.pm, in the conditional jockeys selling handicap hurdle, over the extended two miles and two furlongs, with Joshua Thompson back in the saddle.

Ambassador had a recent rare run on the flat, when finishing a very respectable sixth at Catterick 10 days ago, which came hot on the heels of a new personal best at his beloved Uttoxeter just under seven weeks ago, when winning by three and a quarter lengths, for which he has been raised 7lb. Due to the complexities of the race conditions, Josh can now claim 8lb instead of the 7lb he claimed there, which helps a little negate his new mark.

This is a drop in class for Ambassador, who will give weight to all of his opponents, but he is clearly in good heart at the moment.

Good luck to the connections, David Parry.
