We have runners at two venues on Tuesday, with a representative at Beverley, where the ground is currently good, good to soft in places, and three runners at Yarmouth, where it is currently good to firm, good in places.
At Beverley, Quoteline Direct makes his sixth visit to the track, on what will be his 85th race, when he contests the 0-65 Amateur Jockeys handicap at 2.0.pm, over 10 furlongs, with Becky Smith taking the ride. Quoteline Direct remains in good heart, with a third, and two runners up efforts from his last three starts. The ground shouldn't present a problem, and the trip is fine.
At Yarmouth, Sparkle In His Eye is first up there at 2.25.pm, in the 0-60 handicap, over seven furlongs, with Aiden Brookes, who has ridden him on all of his four wins for us, taking the ride. Sparkle In His Eye always gives of his best, and was only fifth last time at Catterick 13 days ago, because he found the pace too fast, over the sharp seven furlongs there.
Myboymax is currently two from two at Yarmouth, and will make his third start at the track when going to post for the 3.35.pm, in the 0-75 handicap, over one mile and six furlongs, with his regular rider Aiden Brookes in the saddle. Myboymax has been out of sorts recently, but signalled that he is on his way back when staying on over 12 furlongs at Musselburgh last time, where the first time cheek pieces, which are retained, appeared to have a positive effect.
Irv ran his best race of the season so far at Nottingham 24 days ago when going down by just a head, for which the handicapper has left him on the same mark. This 10 furlongs trip appears to be his optimum these days, and he will be at home on the underfoot conditions. The race is a 0-60 handicap, with Aiden Brookes in the saddle.
