A DAY TRIP TO BANGOR.

We have three declared for Friday, with two running at Bangor, where the going is currently good, and we send one down to Wolverhampton, to run on the all weather.

Balkotic is first up at 1.40.pm, in division one of the 0-105 Conditional Jockeys handicap hurdle, over two miles and seven furlongs, with Josh Thompson retaining the ride. Balkotic was the winner of back to back handicap hurdles in September, and November, but in his two starts since he returned from his winter break he is yet to fire, but he did unseat at the seventh last time. If rain does come, he should be okay, as those two wins came on both good and soft surfaces.

Buto takes his chance in division two of the handicap hurdle at 2.10.pm, with Josh Thompson who won on him back in May, once again taking the ride. Buto has been in fine form, as since that win, he has also finished third, and then second, with all three of those runs being at Hexham. All those races were on good ground, but if it were to come up soft, he would probably handle the conditions.

The ultra tough The Resdev Way will make his 107th start, when going to post for the 2.0.pm at Wolverhampton, in a 0-55 handicap, over one mile and six furlongs, with Aiden Brookes taking the ride. This will be The Resdev Way's 13th trip to Wolverhampton, where he is already a dual winner, with the latest of those successes coming a year last April, from an 11lb higher mark than now.
