Heading to Hexham
Busy day today with six runners at Hexham.
The rain has finally come and the ground is good to soft with more rain forecast during the morning so expect a further change to the going.
Enfin Phil the first of 6 runners, French recruit who won a claimer on very soft at Vichy, We are impressed with his work at home, looking forward to seeing him run and hearing the comments from jockey Alain Cawley.
Nine O Three, Won an Irish point on yielding ground but improvement needed on his third run for us.
Wishing Well, Both flat wins came on good to soft and this is her fifth hurdle run, hoping to build on and looking for improvement on previous run.
Tickenwolf, Loves it around here, although unlike the others would prefer the ground not to go any softer.
After finishing a good second at Sedgefield last time and we expect a bold showing today under Billy Garritty claiming the valuable 10lb.
Mac Cennetig, He has been dropped 20lb by the handicapper since his arrival from Ireland. The excellent young Garritty takes a further 10lb off and gets on well with his horse, We expect a good run to finish within the shake up today.
The Pine Martin, First and second here in summer 2017 over hurdles. Long break to overcome and tries fences for the first time, another learning curve for us today but exciting as he goes into the race in good form, it will be interesting to hear Alain’s comments after the race.
Wishing all connections the very best of luck!
