February Flavour Finian O’Toole

Update on Fin, since his fall in November, causing serious injuries to his pelvis and bladder, Fin remains on the sidelines whilst he heals, he is currently awaiting further surgery in March to get him another step closer to returning to the saddle….


It was great to get back out on the track, sending our first runner Cornerstone Lad to Kelso in the Morebattle Hurdle, finishing a pleasing third for owner Mary Lofthouse and rider groom Tab Threadgall.

Racing remains on shutdown

Due to the Equine Influenza out break, racing remains on shut down. The BHA continue to up date us accordingly. Racing is hopefully going to re start on Wednesday. We would like to re assure you that all our horses remain fit and healthy and the usual training regime has not been interrupted.

Freezing Frost causes weekend racing abandonment.

Whilst temperatures continue to drop, Saturday and Sunday race fixtures at Wetherby and Musselburgh are forced to be off. Although the show still goes on back at home, the horses and riders are still out on the gallops.
